When I first began working with Erin, I was going through a difficult time in my life and she was very understanding of my struggles, especially when it came to my sleep health and my work-life balance. I've never had a health and wellness coach before, but after working with Erin for the past 5 months, I'm wondering how I ever lived without one. As a person without much discipline, I have started and stopped a lot of things, including taking care of myself! But as a 55-year old empty-nester, I am prioritizing my own physical, mental and emotional health for the very first time. I was "done" with programs focused mainly on weight loss that couldn't support real lifestyle change, so was curious to understand how Erin's methodology of positive psychology could help me.

I have concluded that it means having my very own personal advocate who really listens to me, figures out what brings a smile to my face, then uses that information to positively reframe whatever comes up for me on my self-initiated journey to wellness.

The result is that I am meeting my OWN objectives in my own time, not someone else's FOR me on THEIR timeline. If you want someone to tell you what to do and/or wag their finger if you don't "succeed,” Erin's not your person. On the contrary, Erin asks questions and will reflect back to you what you tell her you want for yourself, so that YOU are in charge.

For me, this subtle shift in approach, from externally to internally-driven change, has made all the difference in the world, and it’s working. I truly look forward to Erin's warm smile and demeanor every week. She literally radiates positivity and wants nothing more than for her clients to live happier, healthier lives.
